On January 10, 2025, the Menses Health Organisation, in collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through the Foodnatic Club, brought together students and staff for an engaging forum discussion. The event focused on “Managing Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS) and Menstrual Symptoms Through Diet: What Works Best?”—a topic explored by two expert nutritionists, skilfully facilitated by a talented moderator from the Foodnatic Club, making the session even more dynamic.

Over the course of an hour, the expert speakers shared valuable insights, answering thought-provoking questions about period health and nutrition. The discussion was truly eye-opening, shedding light on practical and effective dietary strategies to support period well-being. The forum began with the moderator briefly introducing the topics to be discussed before diving straight into the first question for the panelists. A total of six questions were posed, with the panelists taking turns to share their insights.

After an engaging one-hour discussion, the session moved into the Q&A segment, where the moderator invited questions from the audience, fostering an interactive and insightful exchange.

At the same time, a Mini Period Exhibition, MHO Donation Booth and Emotion Tower were set up outside the hall. These displays provided passersby with valuable information on period health, hygiene, nutrition, and period poverty, creating greater awareness and encouraging conversations about period well-being.

With growing awareness, more women are embracing the power of nutrition, making informed food choices, and experiencing real improvements in their cycle health. This is more than just an event; it’s a movement towards holistic period wellness. A huge thank you to Popomama for generously sponsoring this forum and supporting the mission of empowering women through better period health and nutrition!
