On December 12th, 2024, the Menses Health Organisation hosted an inspiring and engaging Period Education Workshop for 184 eager 10 to 12-year-old girls. The event, generously sponsored by PopoMama, was a day dedicated to empowering young girls with the knowledge they need to confidently manage their period health.
The workshop covered a wide range of important topics, from understanding period health and hygiene to maintaining proper nutrition throughout the menstrual cycle. Expert speakers guided the girls through practical tips and advice, ensuring they left feeling informed, confident, and ready to take on their periods with ease.
It wasn’t just a day of learning—it was a celebration of growth, self-care, and empowerment. The energy in the room was palpable as the girls asked questions, shared opinions, and learned valuable skills to help them navigate this important phase of their lives.
