On 17 April 2026, Menses Health Organisation (MHO) brought the Positive Period Classroom (PPC) to Inspiros International School, reaching 80 students aged 13 to 17. The session introduced students to period health in a simple, engaging and age-appropriate way, while encouraging them to ask questions and learn more about their bodies.
Beyond sharing knowledge, the workshop aimed to build confidence, clear up common misconceptions and make conversations about periods feel more open and normal.
With the support of PopoMama, the workshop made period education more engaging and approachable for the students. Through interactive activities, practical sharing and open discussions, students gained useful knowledge about menstrual health while learning how to care for themselves throughout their period journey.
During the workshop, students learned about the menstrual cycle, common physical and emotional changes, period hygiene and nutrition. They were also introduced to simple ways of tracking their cycles and caring for themselves during their periods.
Through hands-on demonstrations, students explored different menstrual products, including pads, tampons and menstrual cups, while learning how to use and dispose of them properly. The session made period health easier to understand, practical and relevant to their everyday lives.
A highlight of the workshop was the hands-on introduction to different menstrual products. For many students, it was their first time seeing products such as tampons, menstrual cups and discs up close. The activity encouraged curiosity, questions and open conversations about the different options available.
With the support of PopoMama, the Positive Period Classroom gave 80 students the opportunity to learn about menstruation in an open and supportive environment. We hope the knowledge shared will help them feel more prepared and comfortable as they navigate their own menstrual journeys.
